The Applied Innovative
Digital Technologies Research Group, can draw upon several years of
successful research, development, consultancy and evaluation within the
School of Computing and Information Technology at the University of
Wolverhampton. It has focussed on the educational applications of
innovative digital technologies, particularly mobile technologies,
interactive digital TV, VLE technology.
The research group is
able to access research and development skills in computing, mobile,
web and software technologies, as well as statistics and technical
support. Its projects have encompassed local, regional, national and
international
The research group works
closely with the University's HEFCE-funded Centre of Excellence in
Teaching and Learning (CETL) and its Graduate School. The CETL has a
specific national remit to develop and disseminate strategies that
support non-traditional and disadvantaged students using sustainable
innovative technologies.
